Taking it to Task
Hong’s official title is coordinating producer of ESPN’s enterprise unit, but her job description is circuitous and complicated – just like her road to the Worldwide Leader in Sports
A Message from STF Chair, Howard Chen
Welcome to the AAJA Sports Task Force! When I started my career, I chose TV mainly because I realized that, while I knew many Asian American sports fans, very few of them took the step to pursue what they enjoyed as a career. I wanted to make a difference so others would know it’s okay to go after your dreams. It’s surreal being a part of a group like Sports Task Force with so many like-minded people. We are here to lead by example, to inspire, to guide, to help continue to grow this current group. You can accomplish whatever you want to do! We’re here to help you. And together, we’ll help make STF a fantastic group for the present and the future.
Asian American Journalists Association
STF is powered by AAJA and serves as an extension of the Asian American Journalists Association values and programs.
